Indications and Use
Target Conditions:
Effective against ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), bacteria (such as Staphylococcus), and yeast/fungi (such as Malassezia).
- Active Ingredients: Each gram contains Permethrin (10mg), Neomycin (3500 IU), Nystatin (100,000 IU), and Triamcinolone acetonide (1mg).
- Dosage: After cleaning the external ear, insert a pea-sized amount (approx. 0.3ml) and gently massage the base of the ear.
- Treatment Duration: Usually applied once daily; a 21-day course is often recommended to cover the reproductive cycle of ear mites.
Important Safety Information
Contraindications:
Do not use if the animal has a perforated eardrum (tympanic membrane).
- Restrictions: Not for use in kittens weighing less than 1kg or younger than 8 weeks. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.
- Side Effects: Some users on Amazon.ae reported it can be harsh on sensitive skin; common side effects include slight irritation or, in rare cases, tremors if overdosed
