Kennel cough

Kennel cough (canine infectious respiratory disease) is a highly contagious respiratory infection in dogs, often causing a harsh, dry, or honking cough. Common causes include Bordetella bronchiseptica and various viruses, spreading quickly in crowded areas. Treatment includes rest and antibiotics/cough suppressants if needed, with symptoms usually resolving in 1–2 weeks.
